Sewela Maggie Matjekane

The founder and member of Mc Lante. Matriculated at Meridian College in Polokwane, Limpopo Province in 1998. She then furthered her studies in Technikon Northern Gauteng 1999 doing Office
Administration for One year Certificate 2001 she studied Business Management at Capricorn TVET College for National Diploma. She has always participated in being employed as casual During
School Vacation at Smart Centre as a cashier from 1998 to 1999, which clearly indicate the drive and dedication of one day running a business from a very young age.

In 2001 Mutsindo WA Africa & Akan Development Consultancy employed her as a Sales Assistant, Office Assistant and Project officer. She then after that took a long walk with the Services Seta
Mpumalanga (4yrs), which appointed her in 2003 as a Regional Secretary; she was then added a key responsibility to be a Data Capturer. But that has never stopped our director to always capacitate
herself. Skills development had a way of letting her aware that to share the knowledge and skill is the best gift one would ever have.

The day-to-day operations made her to then take things at a very different perspective by taking one step ahead in focusing on Mc Lante’s’ growth in order to be recognized show the ability and her
capabilities. She now works full time at her business and operates the daily duties which basically enforce her to grow the name by delivery good service to all out there. Added to that she has
studied at the University of South Africa doing Economic and Management Science which had made her learn each and every move the economy is taking its tall and being able to diverts the
currency. She is also a member of IWFCI SA – International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry where she just had obtained a certificate in Global Trade Nexus.

She has participated in an Outward Selling Mission in Cairo – Egypt where she has engaged with companies that will do collaborations and who are ready to export to SA
